New dolphin art prints from Portugal
I’m so excited to share three new dolphin art prints, photographed during a few unforgettable trips out on the ocean off the coast of Lisbon, Portugal. It’s a true paradise for wildlife watching, and I’ve become quite addicted to these ocean adventures and went out many times during my last visit.
It’s such an incredible thrill to get to see these amazing animals up close, and there were many moments when I put the camera down and just soaked it all in, completely in awe. But of course I took pictures too! The image above – “The Vast Ocean” – was the first print to be released.
I photographed Two Dolphins & A Shearwater on the first ever ocean trip I went on in Lisbon, and I think I really had a lot of luck that day! Wildlife photography is quite tricky, and to be honest, I don’t even know how I got this shot. 😄 But I’m so happy I did!
The third new print is titled “Dolphins and Sun Glitter”. There’s something so contagiously joyful about the way dolphins move, and on every trip, they came zooming right up to the boat and looked up at us through the water – it felt like they were almost as curious about us as we were about them! They cruised alongside us for a little bit, then gave us a final glance before swimming ahead and jumping, like they were inviting us to share in their fun. 😃
I love the peaceful feel and quiet joy of these images—they’re like a little “window to the sea”, perfect for any space, whether it’s a coastal living room, a breezy bedroom, or a workspace that could use a calming escape.
