My California lifeguard tower art prints are now available in larger sizes!
As I mentioned in a previous post (New Oversized Art Prints), I have been working with some new software this winter, going through older images and re-doing the post processing from scratch to see if they could be improved in any way. In most cases, they can, and the results range from great to mind-blowing!
I photographed this lifeguard tower on Coronado Island in 2006 on my first visit to California with my first ever digital camera. I held on to film for a long time, it was what I knew and was comfortable with, but eventually, digital won me over and I loved the results I got. Camera technology has come a long way since 2006, and the photographs I took back then had their limitations. Up until now, most images I shot with that camera were only able to be printed up to 20×30 inches, but thanks to this new “magic” software, many can now go up to 40×60 inches (100×150 cm), including these lifeguard tower art prints.
The California Dreaming images were among the first prints I ever offered online and they have always been some of my most popular. No. 1 almost made it into a Ralph Lauren commercial and No. 2’s biggest claim to fame is being selected by Marnie Oursler for one of her amazing beach homes.
I originally had these set up as square prints, and they are still available square as well, now up to 40×40 inches (100×100 cm).
Which do you prefer – square or full frame prints?
