Two new minimal prints in the Black and White Art Print collection

I just added 2 new prints in the Black and White art print collection (which by the way also is new!): Birds on a Wire (above), and The Journey.
Birds on a Wire

I photographed these starlings and wires on a quiet, overcast fall day on Cape Ann, Massachusetts. I loved the clean, minimal simplicity of the scene, as well as the whole composition of the moment—the birds against the pale sky, and the clean lines of the wires. From a distance, it feels abstract, but when you look closer, each bird has its own little presence.
The Journey

I photographed this image in Stockholm, Sweden, on a warm summer evening. We were sitting outside when hot air balloons suddenly started popping up here and there in the sky. It was so relaxing to watch them float along quietly, and it made me a bit nostalgic for a time of slower travel, when the journey itself was as much of an exciting adventure as the destination, rather than just a hassle to get through to get somewhere. (Adventure in a good way, not like delays and lost luggage! 🙃).

The Journey is actually a re-release of one image that used to be in a 2-print set. I retired the set a few years ago, but it turned out people had saved the link to it, and I have received several requests for this image, so I decided to take it out of retirement. 🙂 A former customer sent me the image below, along with a wonderful testimonial. 💕

I purchased two prints from Cattie Coyle for our nursery. We love them, they are beautiful! Cattie was quick to respond to the request for purchasing, flexible when I decided that I wanted to add on another print at a later date, and timely with the delivery. She also sent a follow up to see how our nursery turned out. Working with Cattie felt professional, but more importantly, personal.
