It’s been so nice to work on these images while everything outside was cold and gray. It was a virtual escape, a little glimpse of warmth in the middle of winter, and a reminder that blissful, sunny days will always come back.
I love working in black and white for images like these. It strips everything down to the essentials—the light, the textures, the movement, and you really notice the details: the graceful lines of the leaves, the contrast between shadow and sunlight. And it also adds a touch of nostalgia, which I feel is so perfect for palm trees with their timeless beauty.
