A Moment of Calm
How are you doing in the pre-holiday busyness? As I’m writing this, Christmas is just about two weeks away. 😱 Between my Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale and the upcoming holidays, I was starting to feel a little frazzled a couple of weeks ago and changed the backgrounds on my phone and computer to something that would give me a quiet moment, however brief that might be. I chose one of my images from France, “Boats No. 6”, which I photographed on an early June morning on Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and always have found so relaxing.
And it’s working: whenever I turn my laptop or phone on and see this image, I take a deep breath and feel my shoulders drop. I know I’m not the only one feeling the stress this time of year, so I thought I would share this calming wallpaper with you all and have put a phone background and a desktop screensaver up on my portfolio website as free downloads.
