You know that feeling when you’re somewhere warm, and the breeze is moving slowly through the palm trees, rustling the leaves ever so softly? Vacation days that feels like an endless summer – golden, carefree, dreamy… Those are my favorite kind of days, and that’s the feeling I’ve tried to capture in these images.

It’s been so nice to work on these images while everything outside was cold and gray. It was a virtual escape, a little glimpse of warmth in the middle of winter, and a reminder that blissful, sunny days will always come back.

I love working in black and white for images like these. It strips everything down to the essentials – the light, the textures, the movement, and you really notice the details: the graceful lines of the leaves, the contrast between shadow and sunlight. And it also adds a touch of nostalgia, which I feel is so perfect for palm trees with their timeless beauty.
