New Beach Art Print Series
I’m so excited to introduce my newest series, On The Beach, a collection of seven prints photographed in a couple of small seaside towns just south of Porto, Portugal.
I came across these striped beach cabanas during a long walk along the fantastic coastal boardwalk system they have there (more on that in a separate blog post), and immediately loved everything about them: the stripes, the muted colors, the repeating patterns created by the rows of tents – it was such a classic European beach scene, filled with nostalgic charm.
And I was so lucky with the weather on the day I was shooting. It was a warm summer day, but a thick fog kept drifting in and out and created this beautiful soft light and quiet, dreamy, almost cinematic, atmosphere. It was quite magical, and couldn’t have been more perfect for the feeling I wanted to capture in these images.
It’s been a while since I released a larger print series, and it has been so nice to go back to that day and immerse myself in these images during the cold winter months. A perfect virtual escape!
These prints are all available framed and unframed in sizes from small to large and oversized. And if you want to hang any of them in a bathroom or other humid area, I recommend getting them custom printed as acrylic glass or metal prints instead (reach out to me directly for those).
