New work: Mediterranean Shades of Teal and Green. I know I’ve said it before, but the colors of the Mediterranean amazed me every single day I was there. They were never the same, always shifting, and always stunning.
I photographed these ombré shades of blue, teal, cyan, turquoise, aquamarine, and mint green looking down from the Basse Corniche, the lowest of the three cliff roads that hug the coastline from Nice to Menton. As I mentioned in the Côte d’Azur: The Mediterranean From Above post, I walked the road from Villefranche-sur-Mer to Cap d’Ail on a gorgeous day in June. It took me about 5 hours, and I found countless treasures along the way. More about that walk in this blog post: Walking France: Villefranche-sur-Mer to Cap d’Ail.
This is a short series of 3 prints. As usual, the prints come unframed or framed, and you can also get them as metal or acrylic glass prints. Metal and acrylic are great if you want to hang your print in a bathroom, pool house, spa, or other area with high humidity, or just want a really sleek, ultramodern look. And I think acrylic works especially well with really vibrant, colorful images like these!
